Mostly new android phone bootloader is locked, follow the instruction below step by step to unlock it before start any installations process

WARING!! : All data and information on the phone will be erase

Enable OEM unlocking

1. Open Settings application on the phone and go to About phone

2. Continuously tap on Build number for 5 times until the popup shows "You are now developer"

3. Navigate back to the main page of Settings and tap on System

4. Select System --> Developer options --> enable OEM unlocking --> Enable

5. Change USB options to Transfer file

Enter FASTBOOT mode

1. Power off the phone and disconnect from PC

2. Hold power + volume up + volume down at the same time to boot to fastboot mode

Unlock using command line (fastboot)

1. Open command terminal on PC (CMD on Windows or Terminal on Linux and Mac)

2. Navigate to platform tools directory using command below.

   • cd \full\path\to\adb\folder\

   • for example "cd c:\tools\platform-tools" for Windows.

   • "cd /home/myname/tools/platform-tools" for Linux and Mac.

   • hit Enter.

3. Use the following command to unlock the phone bootloader.

   • fastboot flashing unlock

   • The phone will ask to make sure we're actually need to unlock the phone.

   • Use volume buttons to change the options to "Unlock the phone".

   • Select the option by press power button.

4. The phone will be erase the data and reboot.

1. Download Azenqos kernel for Oneplus 8 from the link in preparation step.

2. Power off the device then boot it to fastboot mode by hold power + volume up + volume down button .

3. Open Command prompt on PC

   • Make sure adb/fastboot is installed on the PC or follow Install adb/fastboot on PC instructions

4. Type the following command to install TWRP

   • fastboot flash boot_a <folder/to/azenqos_kernel_file_name_here.img>

   • fastboot flash boot_b <folder/to/azenqos_kernel_file_name_here.img>

   • change <folder/to/azenqos_kernel_file_name_here.img> to full Azenqos kernel file path

   • fastboot reboot

5. The phone will reboot.

1. Download Magisk apk from here

2. Install it on the phone

3. Open Magisk app and if it ask to install "additional setup" just select "OK" and reboot the phone once

4. Please update magisk to latest version if there are available

5. Go to the left menu icon on magisk then select Download

6. Type "Busybox" in search box and select install icon on "Busybox NDK" module and wait until installation done

7. Reboot the phone

1. Download the azq module from the link below then copy to the phone.

   • android.azenqos.com/firmware/tmp/azqddecp-magisk-module.zip

2. Open Magisk and go the menu icon on the top left screen.

3. Select Modules

4. Select + icon in the yellow circle then select azq module file.

5. Magisk will be install azq module, wait until done.

6. Reboot the phone when installations finished.

1. Go to www.azenqos.com/beta5g

2. Download AzenqosMobile-releaseXXXXXX_vXXX.apk

3. Install it on the phone

4. Open Azenqos apps and grant the supersu permission then activate the license 

5. Azenqos is ready to use
